REBEKAH SCHULZE, PhD

Rebekah Schulze, the founder of Pathway College Consulting, has worked in higher education for over 20 years and is an expert on college life.  She knows what it takes to succeed in college.  She has extensive experience in Academic Advising, Academic Support Services, Disability Services, Residence Life, Judicial Affairs, Orientation, and Prestigious Scholarships.  She has worked at Washington University in St. Louis, Boston University, Dean College, Clark University, WPI, and Becker College.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Colby College, a Master’s Degree from New York University, and her Doctorate in Education from Boston University where her research focused on suicide prevention for college students.  She has served on the Faculty at WPI and Becker College. Rebekah currently serves as a faculty member at a university in South Florida where her teaching and research focus is college student mental health and suicide prevention. She lives in Weston, FL with her husband and their two children.

STEVE MALTER, PhD

Steve Malter is a Professor of Practice of Management at Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis. He has been in higher education since 1995 and has been a part of Olin Business School since 2004, where he served in various capacities including Senior Associate Dean and Director of Undergraduate Programs and Senior Associate Dean of Experiential Learning and Strategic Programs prior to joining the faculty full-time. Steve led Olin’s undergraduate admissions efforts including, the development of pre-matriculation programs, prospective student sessions and meetings and admissions decisions.  He has led the development of more than 10 courses in the areas of management, academic and career development, entrepreneurship and international business. Steve holds a Ph.D. from the University of Missouri – St. Louis in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies and an Med (Student Personnel in Higher Education) and BA (Criminal Justice and Law) from the University of Florida. Steve teaches courses in Management Communications, Israeli innovation and entrepreneurship, Consulting for global start-ups, higher education and courses that look at the intersection of business and politics.
